What we collect

We collect anonymous usage analytics and anonymous error reports. This is always on — there is no way to turn it off.

• Anonymous usage analytics from Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics. These tell us which pages people visit and how the site performs.
• Anonymous error reports from Sentry. When something breaks, this tells us what failed so we can fix it.

Analytics and error reports never include the link you pasted or a video link. Analytics receive the address of the page you are on (for example, https://pingvideodownloader.com/privacy/) without any query string or fragment, and no referrer is sent.

Google Analytics may store a small measurement cookie on your device as part of its service.

Links you paste

When you paste a post link, our server looks it up to fetch the video information. We do not keep the link, and we do not keep the video. The video file is downloaded straight from the platform to your device.
