Formats and quality
The downloader hands you Facebook’s own video files — nothing is re-encoded, re-compressed or watermarked.
- MP4 files. Every download is a standard MP4 video that plays on any phone, tablet or computer.
- SD and HD. When Facebook publishes a video in both qualities, you get both listed and you choose. Some videos exist in SD only — the page lists what the video actually has.
- Videos and Reels alike. Page videos, profile videos and Reels all resolve to the same kind of MP4 file.

On Android
Copy the link from the Facebook app or site, paste it above in Chrome or any browser and pick a quality. The file lands straight in your browser's Downloads folder.
On PC and Mac
Copy the video link, paste it above, press Download and choose a quality. The MP4 saves to your browser's download folder like any other file.
Why this downloader
- No sign-up, no account. There is nothing to create and nothing to log into — the downloader never asks for your Facebook login.
- We don’t store your videos. We look up the video information only — the MP4 bytes stream straight from Facebook’s video CDN to your device.
- No watermark, no ads. The file you get is the exact file Facebook serves, with nothing in front of the download.
- Works in any modern browser. Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge — on phone, tablet or computer.
Questions
How do I download a Facebook video?
Copy the link to the video or Reel on facebook.com, paste it into the box above and press Download. Pick SD or HD from the list and the MP4 file saves to your device.
Can I save Facebook Reels?
Yes. Copy the Reel link the same way — Share, then Copy link — paste it above and press Download. Public Reels resolve to the same MP4 files as any other Facebook video.
Can I download Facebook Live videos?
Once a live broadcast ends, its replay is an ordinary public video — copy the link to the replay and it works like any other. A stream that is still live cannot be downloaded.
Can I download videos from a private or closed group?
No. Only videos shared publicly can be downloaded. Videos in private or closed groups, and posts visible only to friends, cannot be resolved without a Facebook login — and this tool never asks for one.
What quality are Facebook videos saved in?
MP4, in SD and in HD when Facebook publishes both for that video. The page lists every quality the video actually has — the file is Facebook's own, with no watermark.
Do I need an app or a browser extension?
No. There is nothing to install — the downloader works in any modern browser, on phone, tablet or computer.
Are downloaded videos stored on your servers?
No. The link is sent to our server only to look up the video’s file addresses — we don’t store your videos. The video itself downloads straight from Facebook’s CDN to your device.
Why won't a video download?
Usually the video is private, deleted or not available publicly in your region — only public videos can be downloaded. Try another link — if it is a public video, it should work.
